Justin Cooper has provided AFL reviews and previews for local and international audiences over the years. He has been passionate about Sports Media as a young teenager and has forged his career over the years within the VFL and community radio leading to mainstream league and media. Justin has developed a significant network of elite athletes and sporting professionals within Australia and Internationally including the former Secretary General of the PNG Sports Federation and Olympic Committee who was a strong supporter of his work.

Justin has supported Cricket PNG with Media services in particular for the legends of Cricket series attracting some of the world’s best known heroes of cricket and has worked closely with Queensland Cricket covering the Queensland Bulls in the Sheffield Shield and Ryobi Cup formats as well as the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League, along with other major events.

Justin has also been the International correspondent to Komatsu Sports on FM100 in Port Moresby. The program ran for 4 years and reached in excess of 3 million people every Saturday morning. The program won a High commendation from the Media Council in 2008, Broadcaster of the Year in 2009 and 2010 and the coveted Program Announcer of the year in 2011 at the PNG SP Sports Awards.

Justin was responsible for research for interview of key AFL sporting legend Wayne Carey on his visit to PNG to assist with Junior Development through the AFL Academy based in Port Moresby.

Justin is now a freelance journalist with significant skills and experience on offer.
